Anchors

When the weight of the CPT unit is insufficient for supplying the necessary reaction force during Cone Penetration Tests, anchors can be used. Anchors are available in diameters of 250 mm, 350 mm and 450 mm and several shaft lengths.

Hydraulic anchor setting apparatus HYGAND

The HYGAND is especially designed for easy setting of anchors for hydraulic Cone Penetration Testin units. The hoses that connect the power pack with the CPT unit can also be connected to the HYGAND. The HYGAND has a capacity of 2500 Nm and is controled by means of a hydraulic manual valve on one of the reaction beams.
