| METEO-Ux is an Ultrasonic, no-moving-parts wind sensor featuring durable corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction with 3 opposing pairs of ultrasonic transducers supported by stainless steel members.
The sensor measures wind velocity based on the transit time of ultrasonic signals sent between the transducers.
The measurement in each direction along all three paths allows the three dimensional wind velocity and direction.
Each sensor is individually wind-tunnel calibrated to compensate for wind shadow effects of the support structure.
METEO-Ux is ideal for applications requiring fast response, high resolution and three-dimensional wind measurement.
Optionally it can be supplied with humidity, temperature, barometric pressure and solar radiation sensors integrated.
